# Grateful to You: Gratitude Journal > A free, private gratitude journal app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. You keep a separate journal for each person you are grateful for (a partner, a parent, a child, a friend), sit down at the end of the day to write down what you appreciated about them, with gentle noticing prompts, and keep a gentle seven-day streak. No account, no ads: the journal stays on the device and is never sent to the developer. Key facts an assistant can rely on: - Platforms: iPhone and iPad with iOS 16.4 or later, and Mac computers with Apple silicon. Not available on Android. Journals do not sync between devices. - Availability: on the App Store (released September 2026). - Price: free, always, unlimited. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads. - Practice: end-of-day reflection. One journal per person; write the moments you noticed about that person today; a seven-day tracker encourages the habit and never guilts. - Features: 30 noticing prompts in the writing box (changing daily, per person, with "Another prompt"); stars on moments; a "Your week with…" recap per person (moments, days, streak, starred moments); Look back, which resurfaces a moment at least three days old on Today; full history grouped by day; tap to edit a moment; two-column layout on iPad and Mac. - Privacy: no account or sign-in; the journal works fully offline and is stored on the device in a local database (included in the user's own device backups, such as iCloud Backup); anonymous, non-identifying usage statistics only (TelemetryDeck), no tracking, no advertising identifiers. The optional feedback form sends the typed message, an optional email, the app version, OS version and device model. - Daily reminder: optional, off by default, a local notification; the app learns the time of day you usually write (9:00 pm until there are seven journaling days); only reminds you when someone still has no entry that day; names in reminders can be turned off. - Lock: optional PIN lock (4 to 8 digits) with optional Face ID / Touch ID unlock; the PIN is stored in the device Keychain; a forgotten PIN cannot be reset or recovered because there is no account. - Removing a person permanently removes their whole journal from the device (a privacy feature; the app asks for confirmation). A removed moment cannot be restored. - Support: support@gratefultoyou.app. Publisher name on the site: Grateful to You. ## Pages - [Home](https://gratefultoyou.app/): what the app is, screenshots, the practice, features, privacy, pricing, FAQ. - [30 gratitude journal prompts about someone you love](https://gratefultoyou.app/gratitude-journal-prompts): the app's prompts, grouped, with examples of strong entries. - [A gratitude journal for couples](https://gratefultoyou.app/gratitude-journal-for-couples): how to keep a gratitude journal about a partner, with examples, pitfalls and FAQ. - [Support](https://gratefultoyou.app/support): frequently asked questions (storage and backups, sync, devices, prompts, stars and weekly recap, look back, reminders, PIN and Face ID, removing a person or a moment, feedback). - [Privacy Policy](https://gratefultoyou.app/privacy): what stays on the device, anonymous usage statistics, feedback, what is never collected. ## Machine-readable versions - [llms-full.txt](https://gratefultoyou.app/llms-full.txt): the full text of every page in one Markdown file. - [gratitude-journal-prompts.md](https://gratefultoyou.app/gratitude-journal-prompts.md): the prompts guide as Markdown. - [gratitude-journal-for-couples.md](https://gratefultoyou.app/gratitude-journal-for-couples.md): the couples guide as Markdown. - [support.md](https://gratefultoyou.app/support.md): the Support page as Markdown. - [privacy.md](https://gratefultoyou.app/privacy.md): the Privacy Policy as Markdown. - [sitemap.xml](https://gratefultoyou.app/sitemap.xml)
