Grateful to You

30 gratitude journal prompts about someone you love

Most gratitude prompts ask what you are thankful for in general. These ask about one person: your partner, a parent, a child or a friend. Each one points your attention at something specific they did or said today, which is what makes an entry worth rereading later.

They are the same 30 prompts built into Grateful to You, a free gratitude journal for iPhone, iPad and Mac, where each prompt appears with the person’s name filled in.

“I noticed you did the dishes I had promised to do, and never said a word about it.”
When did they make you smile today?
“I loved the way you smiled first thing in the morning, before either of us had said a word.”
What did they remember that you’d forgotten?

Each entry names one moment, says what you noticed, and is written to the person. None of them needs more than a sentence.
